You’re either born a natural dominant or you aren’t. You have a true slave heart or you don’t. But it isn’t magic. The ability to create and maintain hot, vibrant power dynamics is supported by skills that we can learn, and that we can keep getting better at. They’re mental and emotional skills: invisible skills, subtle but powerful in their effects. Improving at them can help us dismantle roadblocks that have been getting in the way of having satisfying power exchange, or make a good thing even better. In this interactive workshop, we’ll explore the core skills that can make us proficient or excellent at giving and receiving consensual power. Please purchase discounted tickets in advance through Brown Paper Tickets. Tickets are also available at the door at an increased price.

Foundations now meets in the Annex every Monday evening from 7pm - 9pm with a wide range of weekly topics. This week’s topic is Sensory Deprivation. Fetlife Facebook Impact, Electricity, Needles... there are many classes that apply exquisite sensations, but this class is quite the opposite. What happens when the lights go out, the clatter is silenced and the sensations are ended? Throughout time, humans have found value in isolation and sensory deprivation, realizing inspiration, restoration and transcendence. This class discusses the benefits and challenges around the altered spaces provided by sensory deprivation. From negotiations to physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs, we’ll work to give everyone what is needed to create productive scenes. We will have an introductory demonstration and will discuss areas for possible further explorations. There are many ways to cause sensations, this class will show the magic that happens when they have ceased. You do need a sponsor to attend Foundations classes, but it's easy to get sponsored -- just come to their office hours in the cafe (info above) before class.

At night Mx. Davey Faye will be hosting Pack Night from 7-9:30pm. FetlifeFacebook Meetup Unleash the inner wild in a group format! PACK NIGHT is an intentionally created, recurring safer space for manifesting your evolving primal. What does your primal sound like, feel like how does it move can it play well with others? Using somatic movement and vocal exercises aimed to help you tap into the beastly beauty within, as well as emotional activators through eye contact and improvisation, the circle will be led to fall into a pack mind, blending the fierce (and the more sensitive) primal energies in the room with the common goal to release and revel in our creature-selves. Please click through any of the links above for an in-depth description of this event! Sliding-scale tickets are available from Brown Paper Tickets or at the door.
