Flogging offers a wide variety of sensations. Light leathers like elk and deer offer a soft, buttery sensual sensations, perhaps with a bit of thud. Stiffer leathers like split cowhide offer bite, while thick bullhide floggers offer a deep, heavy muscle impact.
In the cafe & boutique, we offer a wide range of floggers, most of them one of a kind hand-crafted toys made by kinksters in the local community. (If you're in the SF Bay Area, come by and give them a test drive!)
But if you're just starting out -- for yourself, or getting someone their first flogger -- the range of choice can be overwhelming. Where to start?
For a first flogger, we recommend a medium weight flogger that can start soft but ramp up in intensity. We call it a good, five-speed sedan: a flogger that's not too flashy, but can easily operate at a variety of intensities and speeds for top and bottom alike.
The handle on these is intentionally basic, since Stockroom is throwing the full value of the flogger into the garment suede falls. This allows excellent value for the money on this starter flogger, and a piece that will last as your collection grows.
